MediaTracks 25th Celebration

Martin Abbott has been part of the MediaTracks family from the very beginning. This track is from MML122, Commerical Cuts. This was one of the first albums which we released for the advertising market, and has seen regular global usage. It is still used today!

This MediaTracks classic, originates from the pen of Andrew Diey and is on MML125, Suspense, Tension, Intrigue. This retro track is full of hypnotic beats, pulsing rhyhtms and a frenzy of sampled layers.

So popular was the first album of Commerical Cuts, we decided to release another eight of them! This easy listening, little number, is from the pen of Martin Abbott and can be found on MML125, Commercial Cuts 2!

This was our first dable into scoring music for film. Writen by the industry giant, Sebastian Morawietz, this cheesy classic comes from MML130 - Cinematic action, adventure, conflict and romance

What an absolute honour it has been to have such an eminent composer in the MediaTracks family. Ivor Novello award winning composer, Ian Livingstone, has written for us since the very beginning. One of his earlier tracks can be found on MML133, and what a humdinger of a track it is!

This track is from the eclectic album (MML135) of easy listening, lounge music gems. Written by Mr Smooth himself (Matt Norman) this little number was one of his first releases for MediaTracks, and was to be the start of a long and very fruitful partnership.

Another classic heritage track from the pen of Sebastian Morawietz. This forms part of a really successful album from early 2000, which was designed for a large corporate client.

This slinky track, by Roger Howard, comes from a seductive moods album. Designed for those laidback and gentle moments. Just imagine the lights turned down, the fire gently crackerling and you sipping your favourite tipple� and chill!

A track from the first MediaTracks collaboration between the dynamic writing duo, Matthew Corbett and Mike Wilkie. Simple, effective and highly popular. This track has been one of the writing pairs most successful pieces with us.

Perhaps this track was a small indication of what was to follow for Ian Livingsonte - a monumental career in creating music for film and game. This epic track is a masterclass in how to build orchestral tension. Aggressive, threatning, fast paced - it has it all!

Now a classic track on the MT Heritage label. When it was released, however, this piece was really popular. Thanks go to Phil Adams, who was responsible for penning this engaging and lyrical track.

It would be remiss of us not to include a classic track from our founder, Steve Johnson. This subtle and understated track is a masterclass in production music writing. Suitable for a number of placements, this is old school composing at its very best.
